Frequently Asked Questions

Technology. It can make our lives so much easier, but when it doesn’t work for us, it can be so frustrating. Ugh. We just can’t stand it when technology misbehaves.

We’ve compiled a list of troubleshooting ideas to help you access our products and freebies.

On this page you’ll find our customers’ most common issues:

  • I never got my freebie
  • I can’t submit my name or address to request a freebie!
  • I can’t edit an editable product!
  • In the editable products, I need the a and g to look like a Kindergarten a and g
  • My computer crashed, is lost or stolen and I need to recover my purchased files!
  • I purchased something from your online store but never received the link to download them.
  • I’m on your website and can’t find what I’m looking for.

Issue #1- I never got my freebie!

If you typed in your name and address and it submitted, but you never received your email with the actual download, the first step would be to check your spam folder! It’s almost always there waiting for you.

Also, try and request our freebies with a personal email, rather than a school email. School emails, servers, and wifi systems block a lot of outside emails with links or downloads attached.

If that still doesn’t work, please feel free to email us and we’ll be more than happy to send it to you directly.

Issue #2- I can’t submit my name or address to request a freebie!

If you are trying to type in your information and the screen appears to be stalled out saying “submitting,” try again in a different browser…some others to try: Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

You can also clear your browser cache… I’m not even sure how to pronounce that word, but the experts will walk you through how to clear your browser cache here.

Other things to try: Disable any browser extensions in your browser or try using an inCognito or inPrivate browser window to avoid using cache.

Last ditch effort: Try to temporarily shut off your antivirus/firewall protections.

Issue #3- I can’t edit an editable product!

Most likely, your Adobe Acrobat is not updated. If you update it, it should resolve your issue.

Also, the font for the resource needs to be downloaded and installed in order for you to get the correct font. Here is a great article on how you can do this.

I now have new software that allows me to embed the fonts into the PDF so you do not have to download the fonts. I hope to get this done sometime soon and will send an email to my list letting people know when everything is updated.

Issue#4- In the editable products, I need the “a” and “g” to look like a Kindergarten-appropriate “a” and “g.”

Our young readers need to know what a typeface “a” and “g” look like in books, but when they’re practicing writing their names, that’s just not going to work. They need a Kindergarten “a” and “g.”

Issue #5- My computer crashed, is lost or stolen, and I need to recover my purchased files!

Ugh. What a pain. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. If you purchased anything through our Tpt store, you can grab it from the Tpt website.

If you purchased it through our online store, and signed up for a free account, just sign in and you will have access to everything you’ve purchased.

If you purchased through on online store but didn’t sign up for an account, please email me and I’m happy to help you out.

Issue #6- I purchased something from your online store but never received the link to download them.

Ugh. I’m so sorry. First, please check your spam folder. They sometimes get directed there, especially if you’re using your school email account.

If it’s not in your spam folder, please contact me immediately through email and I will get it to you. Customer service is kind of a big deal for me. I will get it squared away quickly so you can enjoy the product you purchased.

Issue #7- I’m on your website and can’t find what I’m looking for

If you’re searching for a freebie, article or book list, type what you’re looking for into our search bar. If you’re looking for something specific, like our Turkey Initial Sounds activity, but still can’t find it, try typing in “turkey” and all of our products will pop up. You can scroll to find what you’re looking for.

If you’re searching for a paid product, click on “Shop,” then either type in what you’re looking for in our shop search bar OR click through our categories to find what you want.

Hope that helps make using our products a little more user-friendly!
